The popular Soundlight Series is yet another major innovation form KEF. When installed, Soundlight speakers are so tiny that they blend in with halogen light fixtures yet will amaze you with their astonishing performance, thanks to KEF’s patented Uni-Q’s exceptionally wide dispersion.

Features and Benefits

Purpose built for flush mounting into walls and ceilings these are the latest addition to the KEF Uni-Q Custom Installation series. Providing a compact solution to the problem of Hi-Fi quality sound from an in-wall/ceiling speaker, the 80QR consists of a polypropylene cone LF driver with the HF unit mounted at the acoustic centre of the LF unit. The bezel and grill can be painted to match the interior décor.

Architectural Specifications

The Ci Series Ci80QR comprises Uni-Q® 15mm aluminium dome tweeter with 80mm white polypropylene bass/mid unit with double neo compound magnet system.

Performance should meet or exceed the following criteria: frequency response be 130Hz to 27kHz, sensitivity shall be at least 85dB for 2.83V@1m. The impedance shall be 4 ohms.
