A GREAT SPEAKER IN ITS OWN RIGHT
The first model in the Si 3 range was originally planned as “just” a starter model. It is much more than that. One could say that it is a stripped down Si 3 Super, using slightly more basic parts and solutions.

THE TEARDROP SHAPED CABINET
The advantages of the teardrop shaped cabinet, which – contrary to most other speakers – has no standing waves to ruin performance, are clearly audible. Its sensitivity is very high and it is easy to drive, resulting in a very musical and open sound. Even a small amplifier will drive this model (and the rest of the range) very well. All you have to do is to choose a great sounding amplifier, a good source and a pair of sensible speaker cables.

SUSPENDED TWEETER
Although this is the basic model, the tweeter is still suspended from the cabinet and the drivers are regulated internally by the same resistive port principle as the rest of the range.
